In Sudan, brooms and eggs are used to celebrate a wedding

During the weeding ceremony called « nincak endog », the family will have to burn seven brooms. The two newlyweds must stand face to face in front of the door of their house. Then, a bridesmaid breaks eggs on the groom’s feet.

The woman will then have to wash the husband’s feet. After what, the bride will have to jump over a block of wood to prove her submission
