Where can an investor find the most attractive environments to invest in Africa in 2020? The South African Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) answers this question in a ranking based on statistics from multilateral organizations, rating agencies and private research institutes. These sources have enabled the RMB to establish a top 10 of the most attractive countries for investors. In order, we find Egypt, Morocco, South Africa, Kenya, Rwanda, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Tunisia.
Egypt is the best country in the RMB ranking for the third year in a row. This rank, Egypt owes it to the reforms undertaken by its government during the past years under the leadership of the IMF whose devaluation of the Egyptian pound helped to make the country a paradise for the investors.
