South Africa holds the record for the highest number of vuvuzelas blown simultaneously

In a football match, it is common to attend shows in the stands. Choreography, song, and dance are elements that enliven the event.

South African supporters use their typical Vuvuzela during football matches as entertainment.

To this end, the record for the largest number of Vuvuzela blown simultaneously was reached by 12,511 spectators during the football challenge match between Orlando pirates and Kaizer chiefs at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth, on July 23, 2009, in South Africa. 300 volunteers were used as marshalls to count.
