Arthur Zang’s cardiopad, a heart-saving invention

Arthur Zang is a Cameroonian computer scientist. He invented the cardiopad, a tablet that measures physiological data from the heart and then transmits it to a cardiologist. Designed for remote populations, its invention allows for a heart examination from a distance.

It is a very useful tablet in Cameroon which has only 50 specialized doctors for 20 million inhabitants.

Arthur Zang is listed in Forbes among the ten personalities who will build the Africa of tomorrow.
