Zimbabwe is the country with the highest number of official languages: The population speaks 16 official languages and we are not talking about dialects. These are the 16 languages: chewa, chibarwe, English, kalanga, khoïsan, nambya, ndau, Ndebele, shangani, shona (Zimbabwean language sign), sotho, tonga, tswana, venda and xhosa.
All official languages can be used in the Education, in politics …, but English is traditionally used for official business. It serves as common language for the majority of Zimbabwean. People almost do entirely their studies in English.
